Reiterating this stance, a military adviser to Iran’s supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei told CNN that “the ball is now in Trump’s court” in terms of finalizing a peace deal. Iran has been saying from the beginning that a peace agreement will happen only when Israel stops attacking Lebanon.
