New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep grief over the horrific road accident in Firozpur district of Punjab and announced compensation for the victims from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF).

It is noteworthy that eight people died, while 12 others were injured in a horrific road accident on Saturday morning on the Firozpur-Fazilka road in Punjab. The injured are being admitted to nearby hospitals. All the victims of the accident were going from Jalalabad to Beas to immerse the ashes of their family members. This accident happened on the way near Janga Wala turn on Firozpur-Fazilka road.
