In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Adams was asked whether her daughter, Aviana, had watched her entire filmography. She revealed that her teenage daughter has watched most of her work on her own, but a few movies are off limits.
“She’ll tell me she’s seen things, but yeah, she’s watched some of it. There’s a couple that I ask her not to watch till she’s a little older,” she added. One particular film she emphasized was Nocturnal Animals, a neo-noir psychological thriller starring opposite Jake Gyllenhaal.
Adams also shared what it was like for her daughter to attend the premiere of one of her mother’s series. “She’s excited to be here. This is the first time she’s sitting through something at a premiere. We just started. I told her when she was like 15 or 16, I’d let her sort of come, and so this is the first time she’s actually sitting through a screening,” she continued.
The actress revealed that Aviana enjoys horror and thriller projects, making it a good pick for her, and said she was excited to be there. Adams also noted that there isn’t much “compromising” content in it.
Previously, in an episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, Amy Adams revealed that she’s not sure if her daughter is going to follow in her acting footsteps. “If it feeds her soul and she loves it, I’m here for it,” she said. However, she said that at present, Aviana has no interest in acting (via PEOPLE).
