Duddhi Police got a big success, successfully exposed the incident of murder due to illicit relationship.

Sonbhadra / Uttar Pradesh – Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Sonbhadra Abhishek Verma, in the ongoing campaign against crime and criminals and under the close supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police (Operation) Rishabh Runwal, Additional Superintendent of Police Headquarters Anil Kumar and Area Officer Duddhi Rajesh Kumar Rai, police teams were formed for the quick uncovering of the murder incident and arrest of the accused. In the above sequence, under the efficient leadership of Inspector-in-Charge Duddhi Dharmendra Kumar Singh, Police Station Duddhi has achieved significant success. Police station Duddhi successfully investigated the murder incident and arrested the accused within just 48 hours and the motorcycle and the knife used in the incident were also recovered.

On 09.06.2026, FIR No. 169/2026, Section 103 (1) BNS vs Unknown* was registered at Duddhi police station by the plaintiff Jai Singh son of Mohan Singh, resident of Mahuaria, police station Duddhi, district Sonbhadra, in connection with the murder of his brother Samasingh God. Considering the seriousness of the case, special instructions were given by Superintendent of Police Sonbhadra for quick disclosure of the incident and arrest of the accused. Police station Duddhi successfully investigated the incident with promptness and on the basis of technical evidence. On 11.06.2026, accused Rajendra Vishwakarma was arrested near the first culvert on Baghadu-Bhisur road. A motorcycle and a knife used in the murder were recovered at the behest of the accused.

During interrogation, accused Rajendra Vishwakarma told that his wife had an illicit relationship with the deceased Samasingh God, son of Mohan God, resident of Mahuaria, police station Duddhi, district Sonbhadra. He had warned the deceased several times to stay away from his wife, but the deceased did not listen to him. For this reason he was mentally disturbed and angry for a long time.

On 09.06.2026, he systematically called the deceased and called Leelasi. There both of them bought liquor and consumed liquor sitting under the Khema river culvert in village Murta. After this, the accused attacked with the knife kept with him and the stone lying on the spot and killed Samasingh God.

Arrested accused Rajendra Vishwakarma, father’s name – Babban Vishwakarma, age – 22 years.

One motorcycle number UP64 BB 9969 and one knife used in the incident were recovered from resident – Dumarpan, police station Sonawal, district Balrampur, Chhattisgarh.

The police team that arrested/unveiled included Inspector-in-charge Dharmendra Kumar Singh, Police Station Duddhi, District Sonbhadra, H.O. Bhagichandra, H.O. Mahtab Ahmed, H.O. Khalid Khan. Sonbhadra Police continues to take effective action against crime and criminals.
