Shyam Kaushal praises Ram Charan’s hard work for ‘Peddi’; What did you say comparing with Aamir Khan?

One of the most popular and ambitious films in Indian cinema, ‘Peddi’ has taken the box office by storm since its release. Starring Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor and an army of strong actors, the film is getting a great response from the audience and the word of mouth is also benefiting greatly. In just seven days, the film is said to have grossed over ₹345 crore worldwide.

After the success of the film, action director Shyam Kaushal has praised Ram Charan for his hard work and dedication towards work. He directly compared Ram Charan to Aamir Khan while referring to major physical transformations in Bollywood.

During an interview, Shyam Kaushal said, “I think the actor Ram Charan And Aamir Khan’s commitment towards work is truly extraordinary. For the film ‘Dangal’, we had earlier shot the father’s role and in just five months, Aamir Khan had undergone a complete physical transformation. Ram Charan’s dedication is exactly the same.”

Shyam Kaushal cited the climactic fight sequence as one of the most challenging scenes in the film. He said, “Unfortunately, Ram Charan was injured on the first day of the climactic fight in the arena. He had to get stitches on his eyelid. However, with those stitches, he completed the shooting of the entire fight sequence, as we could not postpone the shoot. That stadium was not going to be available again.”

Appreciating Ram Charan’s professionalism, Shyam Kaushal added, “He was injured, but one never felt that he was hurt. He never let anyone know that he was in pain or how he was going to complete the shoot. That is true dedication and sportsmanship.”

Talking about his personal relationship with Ram Charan, Shyam Kaushal said, “He is a very sweet and humble person. He always used to hug me like my own children. We had a wonderful relationship. He has worked very hard for this film.”
