His father Pradeep Singh seems to be a brother in law to Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. According to information received from family sources, Prabhat was considered very close to the Defense Minister. He was staying in Delhi and handling all the responsibilities of his family. After his untimely death, he is left behind by his wife and an innocent daughter of only 11 months.

Prabhat was a very simple and friendly young man, who had gone to Madhya Pradesh in connection with some personal work. The news of his death has shocked everyone from Ballia to Delhi. This tragic accident has become another horrifying example of lack of road safety, speeding and young lives being lost untimely. Jaspal Rana was born on 28 June 1976 in Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. His father Narayan Singh Rana (veteran of 1971 war and first Sports Minister of Uttarakhand) was his first coach. Jaspal Rana later became a great coach from an excellent shooter. He also ran his own sports organization in Dehradun. This tragic accident happened on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at around 11 pm in the Shipra police station area of ​​Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Prabhat Singh was returning from Dewas to Indore with three of his acquaintances. He had gone to Dewas in connection with some personal work. On the way he stopped his car on the roadside. As soon as Prabhat finished his work and started sitting back in the car, a speeding uncontrolled bus coming from behind hit him hard. A delay of just 10 seconds took away the life of a smiling young man. After the collision, the bus driver took advantage of the opportunity and ran away.

Prabhat suffered serious head injuries in this horrific accident. His companions immediately took him to Aurobindo Hospital, where doctors declared him dead after examination. As soon as information about the accident was received, Sonkutch MLA Rajesh Sonkar, all BJP workers and administrative officials reached the hospital. The postmortem process was completed at around 3 o’clock in the night. After this, on the morning of Friday, June 12, 2026, Prabhat Singh’s body was airlifted from Indore to Delhi by a special aircraft and from there it was taken to Varanasi, where his last rites were performed.

On the other hand, on June 12, 2026, Jaspal Rana died due to cardiac rupture i.e. heart related complication in Saket Max Hospital, Delhi. He was 49 years old and breathed his last while sleeping. His sister Sushma Singh Rana is the wife of Rajnath Singh’s son Pankaj Singh.

After reaching Delhi, the body of Prabhat Singh was taken directly to Varanasi. Due to his connection with Ballia, the family decided to perform his last rites in Varanasi only. On the other hand, when Jaspal Rana’s mortal remains reached Majhon village in Ponda, Dehradun, very emotional scenes were seen there. Later, news of his cremation came to light at Manikarnika Ghat in Varanasi.
