First flight from Noida International Airport to carry 172 farmers who gave land for the project
In a symbolic and historic gesture, the first flight from Noida International Airport in Jewar is scheduled to take off on June 15carrying 172 farmers whose land contributed to the development of the greenfield airport project.
The inaugural journey to Lucknow is being organised to acknowledge the role played by local farmers in facilitating one of India’s largest aviation infrastructure projects. The farmers will be accompanied by Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh during the special flight.
