US MP Thanedar condemned anti-India statements in Frisco, Texas and said that immigrants have made America stronger.
According to reports, during a public hearing during the debate on immigration and H-1B visas, issues like occupation of Frisco by Indians and targeting of the Indian-American community were raised.
‘No room for racism’
The police station officer said, ‘This is a disgusting act of hatred. There is no place for racism in our country. Recently, a video of a man tearing an Indian flag in Frisco also went viral on the internet media.
Responding to anti-India statements in Frisco and other parts of Texas, Thanedar said, ‘I came to America in search of the American Dream. I was fortunate to get an education, build a business, create thousands of good jobs, and now serve my community in Congress.
The police officer said that migrants make the country stronger. Indian-Americans and their amazing talent in every field have a special place in the American story. He said, ‘I am proud to be an Indian-American and I will always stand against all forms of hatred and racism.’
