Peace agreement between America and Iran, war will end, Donald Trump announced
A major agreement has been reached to stop the ongoing war between America and Iran. US President Donald Trump and Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have given information about this ‘peace deal’. This decision has raised hopes of peace in the whole world and its effect is visible in the international markets as well.
Under this agreement, military operations on all fronts will be stopped immediately and permanently. This also includes the ongoing fighting in Lebanon. The deal will be officially signed on June 19 in Switzerland.
Main terms of the agreement
- military action: War and military operations everywhere will stop immediately.
- Sea route: The Strait of Hormuz will be reopened.
- Blocked Ports: The naval blockade imposed by America on Iran’s ports will be removed immediately.
- Money Transactions: The US will release $12 billion worth of Iranian assets before talks begin. A total of $24 billion will be given during the 60 days of talks.
- Nuclear Weapons: Iran has agreed not to make nuclear weapons. Later America will take back Iran’s uranium and destroy it.
Pakistan has played the role of a mediator in this agreement. Apart from this, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey also helped in the talks. Iran’s deputy foreign minister Kazem Gharibabadi told state TV that this would end the war immediately and that a final agreement would be renegotiated in the next two months.
As soon as this news arrived, a big rise was seen in Asian stock markets on June 15 and global crude oil prices fell. Although the Israeli attacks on Beirut on June 14 created difficulties in the negotiations, the deal was finalized.
