TMC Leader Attacked With Egg: On Monday, a youth threw eggs at senior TMC leader and MLA Kunal Ghosh. The incident occurred while visiting the house of former West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC chief Mamata Banerjee. The video of this incident is going viral on social media. After throwing eggs at Kunan Ghosh, the youth also spoke to the media. Taking responsibility for the incident, the young man justified his actions while talking to the media.

The incident happened while going to sister’s place.

On egg being thrown at him while going to Mamata Banerjee’s house, TMC MLA Kunal Ghosh told the media that I had come to Mamata Banerjee’s house to attend a meeting. When I was coming out after the meeting, as usual, journalists asked me for an interview. That’s why I was answering his questions. My entire attention was on the journalists. At the same time two boys targeted me and threw eggs at me. One of them threw an egg. I saved my eye, otherwise it could have been damaged.
