Sensation due to triple murder in Prayagraj, three people of the same family brutally murdered.

Prayagraj. There was a sensation in Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday morning when a case of brutal murder of three people of the same family came to light. The incident took place in Kukurkatwa village of Meja police station area, where late night miscreants entered the house and attacked and killed two women and an elderly man with a sharp weapon.

The deceased have been identified as Shyam Lal alias Kallu Gupta (65 years), Amravati Devi (55 years) and Indravati Devi (60 years). After the incident, there is an atmosphere of panic and anger in the entire village.

According to preliminary information, the attackers first attacked with sharp weapons and then beat the victims to death. Looking at the situation at the scene, it is being estimated that the miscreants targeted all three while running around. The barbarity of the murder can be gauged from the traces of blood found in and around the house.

As soon as information about the incident was received, senior police officers, forensic team and dog squad reached the spot. Police have taken possession of the bodies and sent them for post-mortem and have started a thorough investigation into the matter.

The family members have accused a youth from the village of murder. He says that the accused had threatened to destroy the entire family about a week ago. Taking this allegation seriously, the police is busy searching for the suspect and is investigating all aspects related to him.

Police officials say that old enmity, personal dispute or other reasons behind the incident are also being investigated. It is being claimed that the case will be solved soon on the basis of interrogation of the suspects and technical evidence.
