Ruthless begins streaming on Paramount+ soon
Fans of Tyler Perry’s Ruthless will not have to wait much longer for the show’s return. The sixth season of the long-running drama is scheduled to debut on Paramount+ on June 30, 2026, kicking off the next chapter of the series (via Deadline).
Paramount+ will release the season’s first two episodes on premiere day before transitioning to a weekly rollout. Episodes will continue to roll out each Tuesday, leading up to the season’s midseason finale on August 25, 2026.
Season 6 returns to the Rakudushis compound at a time when tensions are beginning to rise on every side. Ruth’s growing influence over The Highest puts her in a stronger position than ever before, but her rise also creates new problems within the cult. As power begins to shift, cracks start to appear among members.
The pressure only increases as new alliances take shape and the FBI steps up its efforts against the organization. With conflicts developing both inside and outside the compound, the new season pushes the group into increasingly dangerous territory. As interests collide and relationships are tested, the upcoming season builds toward a series of major confrontations.
Melissa L. Williams returns alongside Matt Cedeno and Baadja-Lyne Odums. Other returning cast members include Blue Kimble, Colin McCalla, Michelle Núñez, Nadége August, and Joshua Adeyeye. Perry executive produces the series with Angi Bones, Tony L. Strickland, Will Areu, and Tommy Watt. Courtney Glaudé serves as writer, director, and supervising producer.
Originally premiering on March 19, 2020, Ruthless has developed a loyal audience over the years. The drama currently holds a 91 percent audience score on Rotten Tomatoes and remains one of the Perry’s most successful projects. It serves as a spin-off of the BET drama The Oval.
