Grunge has long been a signature aesthetic for Jungkook and many international musicians. Inspired by the rock movement that emerged in Seattle in the late 1980s and gained mainstream popularity in the 1990s, the style embodies a rebellious, carefree attitude and a deliberately worn, rugged appearance.

Its hallmarks include oversized silhouettes, flannel plaid shirts, distressed and ripped jeans, scuffed fabrics, and vintage-looking garments, and is often completed with Converse sneakers, Dr. Martens boots, metal accessories, and sunglasses.

Grunge is also central to LATUI Atelier. Founded in 2018, it explores edgy and unconventional themes within streetwear fashion.

During BTS’s two concerts in Busan on June 13 and 14, Jungkook also wore a white T-shirt and denim pieces from a limited-edition collection he co-designed with Calvin Klein, as well as hoodies and T-shirts from Nike. During rehearsals, he attracted attention in a black tracksuit by Japanese label Needles and black Triple S2 chunky sneakers from Balenciaga.
