Complaint against accountant of Kuldomari echoed in Janata Darbar, instructions given for investigation

Anpara/ Sonbhadra –

An echo of complaints against the Lekhpal of Kuldomri area was heard in the public court of State Minister of State for Social Welfare Sanjeev Singh Gond, who was on Anpara tour. Villagers and BJP workers of the area made serious allegations against Lekhpal and demanded action.

Dozens of villagers including Trade Board President Pradeep Jaiswal, who reached the Janata Darbar from Dibulganj, alleged that the area accountant Rakesh Baiswar demands money from people for residence, caste, income certificate and other revenue related works. The villagers said that the application of a person who does not pay is pending or rejected for some reason or the other, whereas the work of those who pay is easily done.

Villagers also alleged that many times people are deliberately made to fill the application forms again, due to which they have to face unnecessary problems and also financial losses. Taking the matter seriously, Minister of State Sanjeev Singh Gond directed the concerned officials to investigate the complaints impartially and take necessary and appropriate action. The Minister of State assured that corruption and harassment of public will not be tolerated at any level and strict action will be ensured if found guilty.
