In the outreach session of the G7 Summit held in France, in the presence of many global leaders including US President Donald Trump, Prime Minister Modi also mentioned the economic and humanitarian effects of the ongoing tension in West Asia. He said that the disruptions in maritime trade in Hormuz have affected the global economy and Indian citizens have also lost their lives in this conflict.
