President Donald Trump signed an agreement with Iran on Wednesday. Under this agreement, Tehran will have to reduce its stock of enriched uranium and in return US sanctions on it will be lifted, so that Iran will be able to immediately sell its oil freely.

According to the AP, Trump signed a physical copy during dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron in Versailles on Wednesday. Versailles is the same palace where many historic agreements have been signed over the centuries, ending wars or land disputes.

The White House had planned a signing ceremony in Switzerland on Friday, but its future is now uncertain as information is mixed from the US, Iran and Pakistan.
