Jharkhand: Investigation of attack on RSS office handed over to ATS, international link revealed in the case!
Ranchi, June 18. The investigation of the attack on the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) office in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, has now been handed over to the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Jharkhand Police. Ranchi SSP Rakesh Ranjan said that there are indications of international link in the case, after which ATS will now take over the responsibility of investigating it.
Rakesh Ranjan told that on the night of 16th May, an incident of petrol bomb throwing was carried out by unknown criminals at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Jharkhand state office located in Nivaranpur of Chutiya police station area. In this regard, Chutiya police station case number 0-85/26 dated 17.06.26 section 118 (2)/109 (1)/324(5)/324(6)/298/326 (G) / 61 (2) IPC and 4/5 Explosive Substances Act and 16/18 UAP Act was registered. Considering the seriousness of the incident, a committee was formed to arrest the criminals involved in the incident.
2 accused Saif Ansari and Aman Ansari arrested near Koderma railway station.
The main accused in the case were identified by the SIT with the help of CCTV footage and technical assistance. After this the SIT raided various places. In the same sequence, the accused Saif Ansari and Aman Ansari alias Golu, who were involved in the incident, were arrested with the help of Bokaro-Koderma police near Koderma railway station while trying to flee to another state after committing the crime.
Third accused Sayam Sujan arrested from Ranchi
The arrested Saif Ansari and Aman Ansari alias Golu confessed to their crime and were said to have caused the incident along with Sayam Sujan, who was also arrested from Ranchi during the raid. At the behest of the accused, the clothes worn by them at the time of the incident were recovered and confiscated from near the drain under Lowerbazar police station.
Chances of international module!
Ranchi Senior SP Rakesh Ranjan said that in the preliminary investigation and interrogation, it cannot be ruled out that these criminals are connected to any international gang (Module). Considering the seriousness of the matter, a request was made to conduct further investigation of this incident from the Anti-Terrorism Squad, which has been approved. Further investigation of this case will be done by Anti Terrorism Squad Jharkhand.
