DU BTech Admission 2026: Seat allotment will start from June 24, students’ wait is over

DU BTech Admission 2026 : Delhi University (DU) has issued an important update regarding the admission process for B.Tech courses. The university has announced the date of the first seat allotment round for engineering programmes. Along with this, the last date of application has also been extended, so that interested students can get additional time to apply.

Admission based on All India Rank

Admission to DU’s B.Tech programs will be based on the All India Rank of JEE Main 2026. According to the information released by the university, the first seat allotment will be released on June 24, 2026. After this, candidates will be able to see the allotted seat information on their dashboard and proceed with the admission process.

Verification of documents and application details

Students will have the opportunity to accept their seats from June 24 to June 29. After accepting a seat the documents and application details will be scrutinized by the Faculty of Technology. Final approval will be given on June 30, while selected candidates will have to submit the admission fee by 4:59 pm on July 1.

Last date of application 18 June

The university has extended the last date of application to June 18, 2026. At the same time, students who have already applied will also get the opportunity to make amendments in their form. The correction window for this will be open from 10 am on June 19 to 4:59 pm on June 20.

145 seats allotted in each course

Admission will be given in three B.Tech courses under the Faculty of Technology. These include Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and Electrical Engineering (EE). 145 seats have been earmarked in each course.
