Remedies for gas and bloating: After eating food, the stomach of many people swells like a balloon, gas comes up to the top and there is a feeling of heaviness throughout the day. Doctor Salim Zaidi explains in the video shared on his YouTube page that abdominal swelling is not just gas. Slow digestion, gas trapped inside and tightening of the stomach muscles, all these things together create gas in the stomach. In such a situation, if there is a complaint of gas or flatulence after eating food, then you can use some of these best remedies.
In case of gas bloating, try these home remedies:
Celery and fennel water: Celery water is very beneficial in controlling gas and bloating. Celery is very beneficial for the stomach. The active ingredient called thymol present in it strengthens the digestion process and fennel removes the heat from the stomach. Mix half a spoon of celery and one spoon of fennel in a glass of water, boil it and then filter this water and drink it.
Asafoetida Water: Asafoetida Water: When the stomach becomes very tight due to bloating or excessive stiffness or cramps occur, then you can use asafoetida water. Mix a pinch of asafoetida with a pinch of salt in a cup of hot water and consume it. However, use it only when there is too much gas in the stomach. Also avoid using it continuously.
Cumin water: Cumin water is very beneficial for stomach heaviness. It activates the digestive system. Boil one spoon cumin in two cups of water and then heat it slightly and drink it. Consuming it in the morning on an empty stomach is very beneficial.
Ginger Water: Ginger water is very beneficial in controlling stomach irritation, acidity and gas. Natural elements like gingerol present in it speed up the digestion process and provide relief from the problem of flatulence and gas.
Apart from these tips, also keep in mind that after eating food, do not go to bed immediately. Sleeping on the bed immediately or sitting somewhere is mainly responsible for the formation of gas in the stomach. Therefore, after eating food, take a ten-minute walk.
