Adah Sharma’s strong entry in Marathi cinema after Bollywood, ‘Gajra’ movie announced, release date also revealed

Adah Sharma, who gained recognition with films like ‘The Kerala Story’ and ‘1920’, will now make her debut in Marathi cinema. ‘Gajra’ will be her first film. It has been announced and the first look of the film has also been released.

Adah Sharma’s debut Marathi film ‘Gajra’ has been officially announced. The film will release in 2027. Ada will play the lead role in this. The actress gave this information through a post on her Instagram account. “My first Marathi film, ‘Gajra,’ needs all your love and blessings,” she wrote.

Adah Sharma further wrote, “From my first film ‘1920’ to ‘Kerala Story’, ‘Sunflower’, ‘Commando’, ‘Bastar’, ‘Rita Sanyal’ you have given me so much love. You have also loved ‘Heart Attack’, ‘Kshanam’, ‘Rana Vikrama’ and all my southern films. I need your blessings, support and love for my Marathi debut too.

The poster of the movie is quite intriguing. It offers a glimpse into a dark, disturbing and difficult story based on true events. Directed by Ada Sharma, the film is directed by Shreyas Jadhav and produced by Amol Borkar. Presented by Ganaraj Studios, ‘Gajra’ is the debut film of Zigzag Productions. Adah revealed in her post that the film is based on a true story.
