Women In Cloud Launches #FoundHerWorld to Boost Women-Led AI Startups

Global community platform Women In Cloud has launched its #FoundHerWorld initiative in India, aiming to help women entrepreneurs access capital, customers and strategic partnerships in the rapidly expanding AI-driven economy.

The organisation said the initiative will focus on increasing economic participation for women founders and helping them tap opportunities emerging from the global AI market.

Women In Cloud, which operates across 100 countries, said the programme aligns with its broader goal of unlocking $1 billion in economic access for women and allies by 2030. The launch comes as India continues to strengthen its position as one of the world’s fastest-growing AI startup ecosystems.

According to the organisation, women entrepreneurs continue to face significant barriers in securing funding and procurement opportunities despite demonstrating strong business outcomes. Through #FoundHerWorld, Women In Cloud aims to address these gaps by creating structured pathways to growth and market access.

“We are extremely delighted to announce the launch of #FoundHerWorld at a time when India’s start-up ecosystem is growing at a rapid pace,” said Chaitra Vedullapalli, President and Co-founder of Women In Cloud.

“This comes at a critical point as we adapt to an AI-driven future. The future will belong to those with seamless access to AI. #FoundHerWorld is our effort to ensure women founders can participate meaningfully in this economic transformation by activating communities, capital and partnerships at scale. India represents one of the most important frontiers for this mission,” she added.

The initiative seeks to tackle three major challenges faced by women entrepreneurs. These include limited visibility within startup ecosystems, restricted access to funding networks and the growing AI adoption gap that could leave many founders behind as emerging technologies reshape industries.

Women In Cloud said the programme will connect founders with investors, customers and ecosystem partners through a structured framework designed to accelerate business growth.

The campaign is supported by a coalition of global organisations, including Founders Live, Stella Foundation, The Pitch Hub, She Angel Investors, AnitaB.org India and Vanguard Development Collective. The organisation also plans to leverage partnerships with major technology companies, investment funds and cloud providers.

Participating founders will progress through a four-stage pathway. The programme begins with visibility opportunities through global founder profiles and ecosystem recognition. It then provides access to investor and industry events, including the Market Maker and Venture Summit programmes.

Women entrepreneurs will also receive AI readiness assessments, go-to-market resources, expert-led masterclasses and sector-specific guidance. The final stage focuses on commercial outcomes through introductions to investors, customer networks and partnerships with leading hyperscalers, including Microsoft, Amazon Web Services and Google.

Women In Cloud has grown into a global network of more than 150,000 members spanning founders, executives, technology professionals and ecosystem allies. The organisation focuses on entrepreneurship, cloud workforce development, AI innovation and policy advocacy, while supporting broader sustainability and inclusion goals.

As competition intensifies in the AI economy, initiatives such as #FoundHerWorld could play a significant role in helping more women-led startups secure the resources and market access needed to scale globally.
