Josh Brolin has expressed his confusion regarding his alleged association with an invite-only secret society. The actor’s name has come up among several other celebrities in documents tied to Peter Thiel. Brolin’s spokesperson has issued a statement denying any connection to the report.

The Hollywood Reporter published an article taking a deep dive into PayPal co-founder and former CEO Peter Thiel’s secretive, invite-only society, Dialog. Leaks regarding the alleged members of this society, which include notable figures from politics, technology, and the entertainment industry, were initially revealed by WIRED.
Among the names that came up in the investigation is Josh Brolin. Soon after, the MCU and Dune star’s spokesperson issued a statement, denying any association with the society and Thiel. Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, the spokesperson said that Brolin would “like to know what the f*** he got himself into.”
According to the leaked materials on Dialog, Uber CEO Ryan Graves nominated Brolin to join Dialog. In his alleged application to Dialog, the actor wrote, “I grew up on a horse farm, climbed parts of Everest, given academy awards, been nominated, written a book, had former Poet laureates reach out, been friends with the greatest artists of our time, and smoked crack under a car at 3 am in San Francisco.”
Meanwhile, other celebrities from the entertainment industry who have been allegedly tied to Thiel’s secret society include Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Sophia Bush, Scooter Braun, Benj Pasek, Isaac Lee, and more.
Most recently, Joseph Gordon-Levitt also issued a statement, explaining his association with Thiel. “I have been to two Dialog conferences,” the actor wrote on Instagram on Thursday. He went on to clarify, “But, I do not know Peter Thiel. I’ve never met him.
The actor added, “I’ve never spoken with him or his representatives. I’ve never seen him at an event. From what l’ve read about his views, we are political and ideological opposites.”
