The show’s release was officially confirmed on June 19 through a post jointly shared on social media by Netflix India and Samay Raina. The teaser featured Amin Khan, a bodyguard who suddenly became a fan favorite after appearing in Samay’s stand-up special ‘Still Alive’. In this video, Samay Raina clarified that the audience will get the same episode on both Netflix and YouTube, there will be no difference in the content of both. He joked that the only difference is that YouTube viewers will have to watch ads, while Netflix subscribers will be able to watch the show without any interruptions.

The journey of time was full of difficulties

The journey till Season 2 has not been easy for Raina. Earlier this year, India’s Got Latent came to the center of a major controversy when guest Ranveer Allahabadia’s comments during an episode sparked widespread outrage on social media. The reaction quickly escalated into police complaints, legal proceedings and public scrutiny. Several episodes were removed, and questions arose whether the show would survive the controversy.
