Actor Vishal Vashishtha, who recently worked with him in ‘Sikander’, has shared many emotional things while remembering that period.

‘Salman was extremely troubled mentally and physically’
In an interview given to Free Press Journal, Vishal Vashishtha told that during the shooting of the film, Salman Khan was going through a very difficult phase emotionally, mentally and physically. According to him, the actor remained completely dedicated to his work despite being in constant pain.

Vishal said that everyone on the set had closely observed Salman’s condition. Many times he had trouble even walking, but as soon as he came in front of the camera, he tried to complete his scene.

Used to take physiotherapy immediately after shooting
Vishal said that Salman Khan used to continuously take physiotherapy to prepare for the action sequences. During the shooting, as soon as a scene was cut, instead of taking rest, he started focusing on treatment and recovery so that he could keep himself ready for the next scene.

He said that it was necessary for the actor to remain constantly active as the film included many action scenes. Despite the pain, Salman continued his work instead of stopping the shooting.

Working amidst security was also challenging
Vishal Vashishtha also said that at that time there was an unprecedented circle of security around Salman Khan. Due to the increasing danger and constant threats, their security arrangements were made more stringent than before. Being surrounded by a large number of security personnel at all times can be a mentally tiring experience for any person. Despite this, Salman used to reach the set daily and fulfill his responsibilities.

Action scenes were delayed due to injury
Vishal revealed that some of the action scenes in the film were put to a later schedule to give Salman enough time to recover from his injury.

He told that in the initial days, the actor faced a lot of trouble while shooting even simple domestic scenes. Even getting up and sitting from the chair had become a challenge for him. However, his condition improved with time.

Bishnoi gang murdered Baba Siddiqui
The murder of Baba Siddiqui in October 2024 shocked the entire country. Salman Khan and Baba Siddiqui had a close relationship for a long time. Due to Salman Khan’s alleged connection with the Blackbuck case, Lawrence Bishnoi gang targeted his close friend Baba Siddiqui and killed him on 12 October 2024.
