New Delhi . Actor Salman Khan’s film ‘Sikander’ may not have performed as per the expectations at the box office, but new revelations are now emerging regarding the challenges faced by him during the shooting of the film. Actor Vishal Vashishtha, who worked with him in the film, recently mentioned the circumstances during the shooting and said that Salman Khan was going through a very difficult phase physically, mentally and emotionally at that time. Despite this, he maintained his commitment towards his work and left no stone unturned in completing the shooting.
It is reported that the shooting of the film was taking place at a time when Salman Khan was facing many challenges both personally and professionally. Serious concerns had arisen over the actor’s safety after the murder of his close friend and senior political figure Baba Siddiqui. Security agencies had made special arrangements for them and they had to remain on constant alert. During this time, he was also suffering from a rib injury, due to which it was not easy for him to do normal activities.
According to Vishal Vashishtha, people present on the set saw Salman Khan working in pain several times. He told that the actors used to walk slowly to complete their scenes and as soon as the shooting part was over, they would start the process of treatment and physiotherapy. Given the demands of action scenes, he had to remain constantly active, which further increased his physical discomfort. Despite this he did not let his work get affected.
People associated with the film say that the way Salman Khan continued working even in difficult circumstances during the shooting, shows his professional attitude. On one hand there were health issues, on the other hand there were constant concerns about security. Despite this, he never gave up in front of his colleagues and people associated with film production and tried to continue shooting as per the schedule.
Vishal Vashishtha also said that the biggest lesson he learned from Salman Khan was his dedication towards his work. According to him, despite being active in the film industry for a long time, the actor still performs his profession with full seriousness and responsibility. He said that many times the audience sees only the final result, but very few people know what circumstances the artist goes through behind it.
Meanwhile, many discussions have already come to light regarding the production of the film. The film’s director AR Murugadoss had also hinted that many practical challenges were faced during the shooting. On some occasions the shooting schedule was changed and the entire unit had to alter its schedule as per the circumstances. This made the manufacturing process more complex.
Film industry experts believe that behind the films of big stars, there is not only glamor and entertainment, but sometimes also personal struggles, health related challenges and serious issues related to security are also involved. Recent information related to the shooting of ‘Sikander’ brings this reality to the fore. Even though the film was not a commercial success, the dedication and professional commitment shown by Salman Khan during the shooting remains a topic of discussion even today.
