Maharashtra ATS conducts simultaneous raids at 15 locations in Parbhani, probe underway

The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on Saturday conducted simultaneous raids at 15 locations across Parbhani city following confidential intelligence inputs, officials said.

According to a statement issued by the State Anti-Terrorism Squad, Mumbai, the operation began in the early hours of June 20 and was carried out at multiple locations across the city as part of an ongoing investigation.

Raids launched after intelligence inputs

The ATS said the searches were initiated on the basis of confidential information received by the agency. Teams carried out coordinated operations at 15 different locations in Parbhani, targeting premises linked to individuals under investigation. Officials did not disclose further details regarding the nature of the intelligence input or the identities of the persons being investigated.

The operation was conducted simultaneously across all identified locations as part of a planned action by the agency.

Documents and electronic devices seized

During the searches, ATS teams recovered various documents, electronic devices and other materials from the residences of the suspects. The agency said all seized materials are being subjected to detailed scrutiny as investigators seek to determine their relevance to the case.
