IND vs AFG Playing XI : After winning in Dharamsala and Lucknow, the Indian team will take the field today with the intention of a clean sweep against Afghanistan. But, in Chennai, coach Gautam Gambhir and captain Shubman Gill would like to try young talents keeping in mind the upcoming ODI World Cup. In such a situation, there is a possibility of at least four changes in the playing eleven of the host team. Which also includes the comeback of Harshit Rana, who was included in the squad for the third ODI.

BCCI has included fast bowler Harshit Rana in the ODI team and he may get a chance to play immediately. Rana was out of the T20 World Cup due to a knee injury and had to undergo surgery. Due to which he had to be out of IPL 2026. Now this fast bowling all-rounder will return. Ten Doeschate also confirmed that Nitish Reddy, who missed the last match, is now fit and will get a chance to play. At the same time, KL Rahul can be rested and Ishan can handle the responsibility of wicketkeeping. Apart from this, Harshit Rana and Harsh Dubey may get a chance in place of Arshdeep Singh and Kuldeep Yadav.
