Mirzapur. A 24-year-old woman died under suspicious circumstances in Padri police station area. Her parents accused her of murder. According to the information received, 24-year-old Gudiya, a resident of Barji Mukundpur village, was found dead under suspicious circumstances. In this incident, a huge tussle was seen between the parents of her parents’ and in-laws’ side, while serious allegations are also being made against the local police.
According to SHO Shyamjit Yadav and in-laws, Gudiya had gone to the washroom at around 11:30 pm on Saturday night, where she suddenly fell due to dizziness. The family took him to the district hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The in-laws claim that Gudiya would often faint and it was just an accident.
On the contrary, the parents have alleged murder and have called the entire story false. He says that Gudiya’s marriage took place on 24 May 2022. Gudiya’s husband loved her very much and had no complaints, so she lived with her husband in her maternal house. Sister-in-law and younger sister-in-law often harassed Gudiya for money. On Saturday evening at 7:30 I got a call from my in-laws that I had to settle the money.
After which Gudiya and her husband left for there in a healthy condition.
There is a serious allegation by the mother’s side that Gudiya’s innocent husband was made drunk by making him drink liquor as part of a conspiracy, so that he could not understand anything. The maternal family is completely in favor of the son-in-law (husband) and they believe that he has been made a pawn in this matter. According to family members, they got a call at 12 o’clock in the night that Gudiya had hanged herself. When they arrived, Gudiya was bleeding from the nose and mouth and the husband was drunk.
The role of the police in this sensitive matter was very suspicious. It is alleged that instead of taking impartial action, the police station in-charge tried to whitewash the matter in support of the in-laws’ side. The police tried to put pressure on the victim’s parents by calling it just an accident.
However, the parents remained adamant on conducting the post-mortem and informed the higher police officials about the matter. CO Sadar Sadanand Singh reached the spot and ordered the Panchnama of the body to be sent for post-mortem. Padri police has sent the body for post-mortem.
