JDU National Council meeting concluded, Nitish Kumar will remain on the post of President, Nishant Kumar said – ‘The responsibility has increased now’
In Bihar politics, Janata Dal United (JDU) has decided to further strengthen its organization. In fact, important meetings of the state and national council of the party were completed. Many important decisions regarding the organization were taken in these meetings. The most important thing was that the presence of Nishant Kumar, Health Minister of Bihar Government and son of former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, filled new enthusiasm among the party workers. In these meetings it became clear that Nitish Kumar will continue on the post of National President, while Umesh Kushwaha has also been approved as the State President. After this, emphasis will be laid on further strengthening the organization.
In fact, during the meeting, JDU leader Nishant Kumar expressed his views and said that now our responsibilities have increased. He said with confidence that he will strengthen the party in entire Bihar and will go among the public about the work done by the National President. Nishant Kumar further said that in today’s meeting, his father has been approved as the national president, while Umesh Kushwaha has been approved as the state president by the National Council. He again said that this is definitely a big responsibility and now with this responsibility we will have to work together with the workers. These statements of Nishant Kumar are being considered an important step towards the future of the party and the expansion of the organization.

In fact, JDU working president Sanjay Jha also expressed confidence about the future of the party and said that the party will move ahead with the vision of Nitish Kumar. He said that the people of Bihar have always expressed confidence in the leadership of Nitish Kumar. Referring to the last 20 years, Sanjay Jha said that the people of Bihar have given full support and blessings to Nitish Kumar. He also said that the result of this trust of the public was that after getting 43 seats in the 2020 assembly elections, the party got the support of 85 seats in 2025.

At the same time, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Choudhary also expressed happiness over these meetings and said that the party’s widely accepted leader Nitish Kumar has been re-elected as the national president and his name has been approved in the National Council without any opposition. He said that his biggest happiness was that whether it was the State Council meeting or the National Council meeting, Nishant Kumar participated in both, which has increased a lot of enthusiasm among the workers.
In fact, while giving information about the meetings, JDU’s national spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan Prasad said that first a meeting of the newly formed State Council was held and before that a meeting of the existing national officials was also held. He clarified that a total of 4 proposals were put forward during these important meetings, which were discussed in detail. In the meeting, mainly issues related to strengthening the organization, political strategy of the party and upcoming programs were discussed in depth. All the party leaders united and once again reiterated their resolve to further strengthen the organization under the leadership of Nitish Kumar.
