US Iran Peace Talks Switzerland: On one hand, the next round of important talks are going on between America and Iran in Switzerland, while on the other hand, US President Donald Trump’s tough stance remains intact. On Sunday, Trump once again issued a sharp warning regarding Iran, saying that if it does not stop the activities of its supported groups in Lebanon, America can take more stringent military action.
Donald Trump, while posting on his social media platform ‘Truth Social’, alleged that Iran is working to spread instability by providing financial help to some groups operating in Lebanon. He said, “Iran must immediately stop the groups it is funding. If it does not do so, the US will take even harsher action against Iran than before.”
Important talks continue in Switzerland
Amidst Trump’s statement, the next phase of talks between the delegations of America and Iran is proposed in Switzerland on Sunday evening. The Iranian delegation reached Switzerland late Saturday night to take part in the talks. Vice President JD Vance also reached there on Sunday to lead the American side.
Pakistan is also playing the role of mediator
Pakistan’s delegation has also reached Switzerland to play the role of mediator in this talks. The Pakistani team led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was welcomed by the Foreign Ministry of Switzerland. Pakistan’s Field Marshal Asim Munir is also included in this delegation.
Shahbaz Sharif spoke in praise of Trump
After reaching Switzerland, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised US President Donald Trump and said that this important meeting has been possible because of his visionary and influential leadership.

Shahbaz Sharif said, “I thank President Trump with all sincerity. His initiative and leadership have paved the way for this dialogue. I hope that the talks taking place here will prove to be positive and constructive and will bring good results in the future.” He also praised Vice President JD Vance, who is leading the US delegation, and said that under his leadership the talks can move forward in a successful direction.
