Sensex Top-10 Companies Market Cap: The reduction in global volatility has led to a strong rise in the Indian stock market and the market cap of nine of the top 10 Indian companies has increased by Rs 2.15 lakh crore. In the period of June 15-19, Sensex closed 1,274.95 points or 1.69 per cent higher at 76,802.90 and Nifty closed 390.20 points or 1.65 per cent higher at 24,013.10. During this period, the market cap of Bharti Airtel, LIC, Bajaj Finance, L&T, SBI, HDFC Bank, HUL and ICICI Bank has increased. On the other hand, there was a decline in the market cap of IT company TCS.
Bharti Airtel’s market cap increased the most among the top 10 companies, due to which its valuation increased by Rs 52,432.67 crore to Rs 11.63 lakh crore. The market cap of state-owned Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) increased by Rs 51,675.23 crore to Rs 5.57 lakh crore and the market valuation of Bajaj Finance increased by Rs 26,553.71 crore to Rs 5.99 lakh crore.
How much did Reliance’s market cap increase?
The market cap of Reliance Industries has increased by Rs 22,464.02 crore to Rs 17.72 lakh crore. During the review period, L&T’s market cap increased by Rs 21,929.12 crore to Rs 5.79 lakh crore, SBI’s market capitalization increased by Rs 16,753.57 crore to Rs 9.55 crore. With this, the market cap of HDFC Bank has increased by Rs 11,948.72 crore to Rs 12.01 lakh crore. The market cap of Hindustan Unilever has increased by Rs 6,661.10 crore to Rs 5.16 lakh crore.
India’s most valuable company
ICICI Bank The market cap of has increased by Rs 4,724.22 crore to Rs 9.66 lakh crore. On the other hand, the market cap of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has increased by Rs 12,699.49 crore to Rs 7.69 lakh crore. Reliance Industries remains India’s most valuable company. This was followed by HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, TCS, Bajaj Finance, Larsen & Toubro, LIC and Hindustan Unilever.

The market closed in the red in the last trading session of the week on Friday.
