Nitish Kumar’s leadership again confirmed, takes over as JDU national president for the fourth time
Tezzbuzz Desk – Once again Nitish Kumar’s stature has become stronger in Bihar politics. In the National Council meeting of Janata Dal (United) (JDU) on Sunday, he was elected the National President of the party for the fourth consecutive time. All the senior leaders of the party agreed to this decision and the National Council also gave its approval.
In this meeting organized at Karpoori Hall of the party’s state headquarters in the capital Patna, workers and leaders gave a warm welcome to Nitish Kumar. During this, his son Nishant Kumar touched his feet and took blessings, whose pictures also became a topic of discussion.
Addressing the meeting, Nitish Kumar praised the working of the NDA government in Bihar. He said that the government is taking forward the development schemes effectively and work on the schemes started under ‘Saat Nishchay Part-3’ is going on at a fast pace.
After the meeting, the party’s national spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan Singh told the press conference that four important proposals were discussed in the National Council and approved unanimously. He said that the smooth transfer of power in Bihar is a unique example in Indian politics.
It is noteworthy that Nitish Kumar has been the national president of JDU thrice before. For the first time he was given this responsibility in the year 2016. After this, he got the command of the party in 2019, 2023 and now for the fourth time. Party leaders believe that Nitish Kumar is the biggest strength and universally accepted leader of JDU.
