Sindoor in demand and smile on face, Aman-Sania’s love completed with blessings of Muslim father
A unique love story has come to light from Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh, which has not only united two hearts but has also presented a great example of communal harmony in front of the society. Usually, there is chaos and uproar over the love between a boy and a girl of different religions, whereas in Pratapgarh, a new lesson of wisdom was written at the doorstep of the law. Here, to consummate the four-year-old love, a high-voltage ‘Police Panchayat’ was held in the police station for about 6 hours. Ultimately, due to the daughter’s insistence and the police’s persuasion, the walls of religion collapsed and a Muslim father himself handed over his daughter’s hand to her Hindu lover.
Actually, this whole matter is of Dawoodpur village of Pratapgarh. There was a love affair going on between Sania Bano, a resident of the same village, and neighbor Aman Kumar for the last four years. There is a distance of about 300 meters between their houses, so the series of meetings and conversations gradually turned into love. When both of them took vows to live and die together, they told their respective families about their relationship.
When society became the villain in Sania and Aman’s love story
In the beginning, as happens in every love story, there was strong opposition to this relationship. When Sania’s father Khurshid Alam came to know that his daughter wanted to marry a boy from another religion, he got furious. Due to social shame and family pressure, Khurshid clearly refused this relationship. But Sania also remained adamant on her decision to spend her life with Aman. The matter worsened when father Khurshid Alam went straight to Patti police station on Saturday with a complaint. He wanted to stop this marriage at any cost.
‘Police Panchayat’ of 6 hours sitting in Patti police station
After receiving the complaint, Patti police station immediately took action and summoned the families of Aman and Sania to the police station. When both the parties reached the police station on Saturday morning, there was a lot of tension in the atmosphere. There was a heated debate from both sides. After this the police took command and made both the parties sit in a room and started talking. The police officers showed utmost patience and explained to Sania’s father that both were adults and were free to take their own decisions. Amid legal disputes and daughter’s insistence, the argument continued for about 6 hours.
Father broke the wall of religion for daughter’s happiness
It was about 4 o’clock in the afternoon. Father Khurshid Alam’s heart finally melted after long counseling by the police and seeing the true love for Aman in Sania’s eyes. Without caring about the society, he kept his daughter’s happiness at the forefront and gave his green signal for this marriage. As soon as the father heard yes, the tense atmosphere of the police station changed into applause and smiles. The policemen present there also heaved a sigh of relief.
As soon as the agreement was reached, without wasting any time, Aman and Sania were taken to the nearest temple. Here Sania and Aman took seven rounds amid full rituals and Vedic chanting. Sania decorated her maang with vermilion in Aman’s name as per Hindu customs. The most beautiful picture of this marriage came to light when father Khurshid Alam hugged the daughter and son-in-law with moist eyes, giving up their insistence on Nikah and getting married as per Hindu customs and blessed both of them to remain happy forever. The discussion about this unique marriage is now in full swing in entire Pratapgarh.
