The scene was removed from the script 17 years ago and later became the most emotional moment of the film in 3 Idiots.

New Delhi . An interesting link has emerged between Munna Bhai MBBS and 3 Idiots, which are among the most popular films of Hindi cinema. Famous director Rajkumar Hirani has revealed that a much talked about and emotional scene from 3 Idiots was actually part of the script of the first Munna Bhai MBBS. Although it was removed from the film at that time, but years later the same idea appeared in a new form in 3 Idiots and was successful in garnering a lot of applause from the audience.

Munna Bhai MBBS, released in 2003, wrote a new chapter in Indian cinema. The pairing of Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi made the audience laugh and also emotional. The story and characters of the film are still present in the hearts of people. But very few people know that many such scenes were written in the script of this film which later did not become a part of the final version.

Rajkumar Hirani had told in an interview that he had written a special scene for Munna Bhai MBBS which was going to bring a big change in the life of the main character Munna. According to the story, one night Munna and Circuit are roaming on the road after drinking alcohol. There is curfew in the city and there is silence. Just then a small child comes to them in panic and tells them that his mother is in labor pain but no ambulance or doctor is available to help.

  • When the child learns that Munna is studying to become a doctor, he forces him to come with him. Munna has no real medical experience but tries to help based on what he has seen in movies. He asks people to bring hot water and essential items and tries to control the situation.

According to the story, the child is finally born and when Munna holds the newborn in his lap for the first time, a major emotional change takes place within him. At that very moment he realizes the value of life and the responsibility of his profession. This scene is important in the development of his character.
