Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has once again taken a big step on Monday to make Uttar Pradesh a great state and to give the speed of bullet train to the development works. CM Yogi on Monday went on a whirlwind tour of two major districts of the state – Firozabad and Aligarh. During this period, he launched a series of development projects worth crores of rupees for the people of both the districts.
The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of many big schemes in these two districts. The government claims that with the start of these new and modern projects, not only will there be rapid expansion of infrastructure in both the cities, but will also open new avenues of employment and business for the youth at the local level.
Glass City and Lock City get new wings of development
While Firozabad district of Uttar Pradesh is famous all over the world for its beautiful bangles and excellent glass industry (Glass City), Aligarh has got its special identity because of the strong lock industry there (Lock City). Both these historical and industrial cities have got a new development plan from this visit of CM Yogi. Addressing the public meeting on this occasion, the Chief Minister said that a completely new era of development, modernity and empowerment is going to begin in these two historical cities.
The new development projects launched in Firozabad will further strengthen the local glass industry at the global level, which will benefit the businesses and also significantly improve the civic amenities of the city. On the other hand, the new schemes being implemented in Aligarh will help in improving the city’s infrastructure, civic amenities like roads, electricity and water better than ever.
How much money came into the bag of which district, know the complete mathematics
Under this very special program of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, both the districts have got the gift of a huge budget together. If we look at the figures, 81 development projects with a huge cost of about Rs 658 crore have been officially launched in ‘Glass City’ Firozabad.
On the other hand, ‘Lock City’ Aligarh has also got a big treasure in its account. In Aligarh, CM Yogi has inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of a total of 85 important development projects costing more than Rs 462 crore with his own hands. If we look at these two districts together, schemes worth more than Rs 1,000 crore have been implemented in a single day.
Public got direct benefit, got keys of houses under PM Awas Yojana
During this VIP visit of the Chief Minister, the foundation of construction works was not only laid on paper, but the direct and live benefits of government schemes were also given to the general public on the ground. During the program, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself handed over the keys of their new permanent houses to many poor and eligible families under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban)’ from the stage.
Along with this, certificates, government checks of financial assistance amount and necessary equipment to make life easier were also distributed to the beneficiaries of various government welfare schemes. The government believes that this step will eliminate middlemen and the needy families will be able to get full benefits of the government schemes directly.
Modern facilities will completely change the picture of Uttar Pradesh
The Uttar Pradesh government says that the only main objective of these continuous development works taking place in all the small and big cities of the state is to completely connect the towns and cities with modern amenities, so that the life of the common people of the country’s largest state can be made easier and safer than before.
Today, due to the way work is going on in Uttar Pradesh on war footing in road connectivity, permanent housing, better health facilities, digital education and other important social sectors, the pace of change has now increased significantly in all the cities of Uttar Pradesh and very positive results will be seen in the coming days.
