According to a report by The Times of Israel, an underground drone production facility was discovered in a mountain near the Israeli border during an operation in southern Lebanon. In addition to assembling drone parts inside this factory, attacks on Israel were carried out. The Israeli army claims that this advanced drone base was built with the direct support, financial and technical assistance of Iran over the past decade. The IDF claims the underground base is located in the village of Mazdal Jun, just 6 kilometers from the Israeli border.

The base was captured by the Israeli army during the military operation in southern Lebanon earlier this month. An IDF spokesman said the tunnel extends several hundred meters inside the mountain. According to the IDF, 50 drones with 30 kg explosive warheads were recovered inside the base. The drones recovered are identical to those used in the attacks on Israel. The range of drones is capable of striking anywhere in Israel. According to officials, this is the first time that such a large Hezbollah drone factory has been found. A drone launch tunnel was also discovered south of the mountain. This tunnel was opened as per requirement. At the end of the tunnel there are four exits connected to the railway. Each passage is protected by explosion-proof doors. It is reported that 8 tons of explosives have been recovered from inside the base.
