His most memorable role was in the film ‘Mr. India’ as ‘Mogambo’, in which his dialogue ‘Mogambo Khush Hua’ is still famous. Apart from this, he also gave stellar performances in films like ‘Karan Arjun’, ‘Gadar’, ‘Ek Prem Katha’ and ‘Nayak The Real Hero’.

Amrish Puri played negative roles as well as positive and emotional characters. He died on 12 January 2005, but his art is still alive in the hearts of cinema lovers.
