After the horrific fire incident in Aliganj area of ​​Lucknow, the Uttar Pradesh government seems to be in full action mode. After many people died and a large number of people were affected in the accident, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself reached the spot and took stock of the situation. Along with this, he met the injured admitted in the hospital and their families and assured them of all possible help. At the same time, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has also expressed deep grief over this tragic incident and said that he will immediately reach Lucknow.

Chief Minister Yogi took stock of the incident site

As soon as the information about the fire was received, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath changed his previously scheduled programs and canceled the Aligarh program and went straight to Lucknow. He inspected the incident site in Aliganj and took information about relief and rescue operations from the officials.

The Chief Minister sought a detailed report from the administrative officials, police and fire department officials present on the spot on the causes of the incident and the progress of rescue operations. He directed to ensure that the affected families do not face any kind of inconvenience.

Met the injured and their families in the hospital

After visiting the incident site, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached King George Medical University (KGMU). Here he inquired about the well being of the injured and talked to their families.

The Chief Minister instructed the doctors to ensure best treatment for all the injured and there should be no negligence in treatment. During the conversation with the family members, the Chief Minister also assured them of all possible assistance from the government.

Short circuit is believed to be the cause of the fire.

In the preliminary investigation, police sources have suggested short circuit as the probable cause of the fire. However, the administration has clarified that a detailed investigation will be conducted to find out the real reasons for the incident. Officials say that further action will be taken based on the report of technical experts and forensic team. Only after the investigation is completed, it will be clear whether the accident was only the result of a technical fault or some kind of negligence was also responsible for it.

Fire department officials reprimanded

According to sources, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath spoke on phone to senior officials of the fire department regarding the incident and expressed displeasure over any lack of relief work. He said in clear words that if negligence of any officer or organization is revealed in the investigation, then strict action will be taken against it.

The Chief Minister directed the officials that those responsible for the accident should not be spared at any cost and accountability should be fixed.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh expressed grief

Defense Minister and Lucknow MP Rajnath Singh has also expressed deep condolences on this tragic accident in Lucknow. He said that he felt extremely sad as soon as he got information about the incident.

Rajnath Singh said, “This fire incident in Lucknow is extremely sad and painful. Many people have lost their lives in it. My condolences are with all the bereaved families and I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured.”

He told that he has taken information about the situation after talking to the administrative officials and is immediately leaving for Lucknow to take stock of the situation.

Government’s focus on both relief and investigation

The state government is currently working on two fronts. On one hand, treatment of the injured and assistance to the affected families is being ensured, while on the other hand, a thorough investigation into the cause of the accident has also been started.
