‘Maruti Suzuki Brezza’, one of the most popular and best-selling compact SUVs of the Indian automobile market, is all set to be launched soon in a completely new and advanced avatar. Road testing of the year 2026 Maruti Brezza facelift has been going on on the roads of the country for the last several months. During testing, many secret pictures and videos of this car have also been leaked, due to which auto experts are getting a clear indication that this time many revolutionary changes are going to be seen in the new Brezza in terms of design, premium features and performance (engine).

ADAS safety technology will be available in Brezza for the first time

The biggest and most important change in this new facelift model is going to be on the safety front of the car. A modern ‘radar module’ is clearly visible in the front grill of the SUV seen during testing recently. Looking at this radar, auto experts claim that ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) technology is now being provided in the new Brezza.

This advanced safety feature helps protect the driver from potential accidents and dangers on the road through technologies like lane-keep assist, automatic emergency braking and cruise control. Let us tell you that at present the ADAS feature is already available to the customers in the main competing vehicles of Brezza – such as Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV 3XO, to compete with which Maruti has taken this big step.

The magical combination of powerful turbo engine with front and ‘underbody CNG’

This time a big and fun surprise is expected under the hood of the new Brezza i.e. in the engine option:

Entry of Boosterjet Turbo Petrol Engine: According to media reports, the 1-litre Boosterjet turbo petrol engine from Maruti Suzuki Fronx can be given in the new Brezza facelift. This small but powerful engine generates maximum power of 100 PS and excellent torque of 147.6 Nm. With the arrival of this turbo engine, the performance of the SUV and pick-up will become sportier and more powerful than before.
Boot space problem will be solved: The company will also continue to offer the existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and CNG variants of the Brezza in the market. But the biggest good news is coming about its CNG model. It is being told that the company can use ‘underbody CNG tank’ technology in the new Brezza. That is, the CNG cylinder will be set in the lower part of the car instead of the boot (deck) of the car, due to which the boot space of the car will remain completely empty and the customers will get ample space to keep heavy luggage during the journey.

The cabin will be more luxurious than before, these modern features will be available

Talking about interior and features, 2026 Maruti Brezza is going to give a more premium and luxury feel than before. Its cabin is being completely redesigned. The car is expected to get many big and segment-first features to woo customers, the major ones being:

A large and crisp 10.1-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system.
Head-up display (HUD) and 360-degree HD camera for driver convenience.
Fast wireless phone charger for smartphones.
Ventilated front seats to make summer journeys comfortable.
The first choice of youth – a spectacular panoramic sunroof.
Apart from this, new seat design, ambient lighting and soft-touch interior trims will also be seen inside the cabin.

There will be direct competition with these legendary SUVs; Know what will be the price?

After so many major changes and addition of new features, the company may definitely increase the prices of the new Brezza facelift slightly. However, as per Maruti Suzuki’s long standing policy, the new Brezza will be launched in the market at a very competitive (aggressive) price in its segment, so that it can fit into the budget of every segment.

After its launch, 2026 Maruti Brezza is going to face direct and tough competition in the Indian auto market from leading compact SUVs like Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV 3XO and Skoda’s upcoming Kylaq. If the company actually provides all these leaked updates, then the new Brezza will emerge as the safest, feature-loaded and value-for-money vehicle in its segment.
