CCTV footage and shocking facts from the investigation
CCTV footage has surfaced of alleged embezzlement of money by some employees while counting donation money and notes in the Ram temple. It is suspected that these employees are using the bathroom to steal money and take it out.
A number of serious errors have been found in the donation counting procedure. Uniforms were made compulsory for cashiers. But it has been found that those employees are not coming in the designated uniform. Not only this, there are complaints that there is a lot of laxity in the security checks done on them while going out after finishing work.
The role of counting staff, some members of the Ram Mandir Trust and State Bank of India (SBI) staff is being considered suspicious in this whole scam. However, the names of those who have been blamed in the report are still being kept confidential.

During the audit, suspicious items were found
This shocking incident came to light during the internal audit conducted by the Ayodhya Ram Mandir Trust at the beginning of June. The audit predicted the disappearance of some cash and other items from the donation box. After this, the footage of the CCTV cameras installed around the temple premises and the donation box was checked. As the footage found the movement of an employee in the temple itself suspicious, the trust initiated a covert investigation at the internal level. Initially, the matter was kept highly confidential.
‘If there is a theft, there will be a complaint’; Akhilesh Yadav’s attack
The controversy took a major political turn on June 7 when Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav jumped into the matter. In a press conference held in Lucknow, he severely criticized the Yogi government. Akhilesh Yadav said, “The information coming out about the Ayodhya Ram temple climb is very serious and a matter of concern. If the BJP’s ‘double engine’ government’s surveillance system was as effective and its binoculars and drones were working properly, the opposition would not have had time to ask questions today.”
