Ban removed from Telegram, restarted, if app is not running then follow this easy method

Telegram Ban: Relief news has come to the fore for millions of users. In which Telegram, which was temporarily banned due to the NEET exam paper leak controversy, has been reinstated once again. Let us tell you that the ban imposed by the government ended at midnight on June 22, after which Telegram has again become available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store from Tuesday morning. But many users are initially facing difficulties in accessing the app. Apart from this, especially for Apple users, Telegram was not visible on the App Store till 11 am. But now the app is fully restored and working normally.

Why was Telegram banned?

As everyone knows that the government had imposed a temporary ban on Telegram because fake and leaked papers of NEET exam were allegedly being shared on the platform. Apart from this, concerns were also raised regarding misleading information and other suspicious activities. According to the information, on June 3, government officials had held a meeting with representatives of Telegram. In which these issues were raised. After this, the Central Government had decided to block Telegram and its related web links till June 22. Not only this, Telegram has also been instructed to keep its message editing feature closed till June 30. Regarding which the government believed that this feature could be misused and changes could be made in the messages later.

What to do if Telegram is not working?

If your Telegram is also not working after the ban is lifted, then Android and iPhone users can restart the app by following some easy steps.

For Android users

  • Go to Settings
  • Open the Apps section
  • Search Telegram
  • Tap Force Stop

Open the app again and wait for it to connect

For iPhone users

  • Install the latest update of Telegram by going to App Store.
  • Close the app completely
  • Relaunch and wait for a few seconds

What did Telegram CEO say on the ban?

Telegram founder and CEO Pavel Durov criticized this decision. He said that it is not appropriate to ban the entire platform due to the activities of some users. He also alleged that the company’s competitors may have put pressure on the government. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding these allegations.
