Hot pot chain Haidilao offers unlimited Musang King durian at Singapore outlet

Hot pot chain Haidilao is serving unlimited Musang King durian at its Marina Bay Sands outlet in Singapore in a five-day promotion running through June 26.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the promotion, diners can enjoy the Malaysian-imported durians after spending at least SGD88 (US$69) per table before taxes and service charges, the Chinese restaurant chain announced in an Instagram post.

They must then pay an additional SGD20 per person for a 60-minute unlimited durian session.

“Calling all durian lovers – your dream feast is here,” Haidilao wrote.

Haidilao said the durians are imported from Malaysia and flash-frozen to ensure “maximum freshness and flavour.” The company noted that quantities are limited each day and strongly encouraged advance reservations.

To reduce food waste, diners may receive only one box of durian refills after finishing their previous serving. A SGD10 food-wastage charge will be imposed on leftovers exceeding 100 grams.
