Why is BJP expressing sympathy with SP MP Ruchi Veera?, BJP minister said such a big thing
At present, newly elected Samajwadi Party (SP) MP from Moradabad, Ruchi Veera, has become the center point in the politics of Uttar Pradesh. It has not been long since the Lok Sabha elections, but the internal strife within SP is now openly visible on the streets and on social media. In fact, Moradabad MP Ruchi Veera was not invited to the ‘PDA’ (Backward, Dalit and Minority) conference recently organized by the Samajwadi Party. What happened next, the opposition got a big opportunity to siege Akhilesh Yadav while sitting. BJP and its allies are now continuously firing sharp arrows at SP in the name of Ruchi Veera.
The matter is not limited to just not being invited to a conference, but now the ministers of Yogi government have entered it. Those who closely understand the politics of Uttar Pradesh believe that through this issue, BJP is fueling factionalism and caste equations within SP.
Baby Rani Maurya’s taunt: ‘Ruchi Veera is suffocating’
Baby Rani Maurya, cabinet minister in the Yogi government, shared a very scathing post on the social media platform X (earlier Twitter) regarding this entire controversy. He directly targeted the top leadership of Samajwadi Party on the pretext of Ruchi Veera. Baby Rani Maurya wrote that she has received information that Moradabad MP Ruchi Veera is very upset at the moment, her mind is distressed and she is suffocating at that place. He further wrote sarcastically that it is very natural for this to happen in the political party in which he is currently present.
Not only this, Minister Baby Rani Maurya called Ruchi Veera a ‘fighter’. While attacking the senior leaders of SP, he wrote that he is happy to know that Ruchi Veera is taking the lead from such people, about whom it is said that ‘Hassan’ Saheb is the ‘Azam’ of ‘Kamal’. He expressed confidence that Ruchi Veera will ultimately win this fight.
Fighting three personalities is not an easy thing.
You are a fighter! You will also win.
Just do what you told. Whatever was in the heart and mind, convert it into a decision at the right time.

Om Prakash Rajbhar’s sharp attack and ‘pot’ controversy
Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (Subhashpa) chief and Yogi government minister Om Prakash Rajbhar was also not left behind in this controversy. As usual, Rajbhar took on SP in his sharp style. He wrote on social media, “The MP from Moradabad did not attend the PDA function, right? Now everyone is keeping distance from the SP. The MP refused to come and will later make an excuse that the information was not received.”
Rajbhar did not stop here, he directly attacked SP National General Secretary Professor Ram Gopal Yadav and made a very serious allegation. He said that Ram Gopal Yadav always considered Rajbhar and Maurya community inferior to Yadavs. Rajbhar claimed that even today separate utensils are kept in his house for us (backward society) people. He predicted that Samajwadi Party is going to break very soon due to pride and Akhilesh ji’s ‘Shiv’ uncle (Shivpal Yadav) will actually take over the party.
Is BJP playing Brahmin card in the name of Ruchi Veera?
There is also discussion in the political circles whether BJP is trying to play the Brahmin card in UP on the pretext of Ruchi Veera? This is clearly indicated in the statement of Om Prakash Rajbhar, where he said that ‘a Brahmin can forget everything, but not his insult.’ The factional war within SP was going on since the time Ruchi Veera was given ticket on Moradabad seat, which does not seem to be stopping even after winning the elections.
At present, there has been no official clarification from the Samajwadi Party high command on this entire controversy. But this increasing ‘sympathy’ of BJP towards Ruchi Veera is definitely indicating a new storm in the politics of Uttar Pradesh.
