Ram temple offering controversy: Akhilesh’s taunt on missing ‘Kagbhusundi’ – “SIT without FIR means no bow and arrow”

digital desk- Instead of stopping, the case of alleged theft of offerings and misappropriation of donations in Ayodhya Ram temple is getting deeper every day. Amidst all this controversy, a very shocking news has come to light about the disappearance of the ‘silver Kagbhusundi’ donated to Ramlala. After this new revelation, Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav has launched a scathing attack on the government. Akhilesh Yadav sarcastically wrote on social media platform X that SIT investigation without FIR is like ‘command without arrows’.

“Close Nepal and other borders, lest the accused run away”

The SP chief cornered the government, citing the growing anger among Sanatani believers over theft of offerings. He said that in view of the way new cases of ‘offering-donation-donation’ theft are being exposed every day, Nepal and other international borders should be closed immediately so that the accused of this great sin cannot escape from the country. Akhilesh Yadav also raised questions on the formation of SIT and said that when new revelations are being made every day, what will the SIT investigation achieve? He alleged that this was more to ‘cover up’ (hide) the matter than to ‘investigate’ it.

Big claim of Castle Group: “200 kg silver bricks were given to Champat Rai, receipt not received”

Another sensational turn in this controversy came when Dr. Raju V. Manwani, MD of Castle Group of Companies, raised serious questions on the Ram Mandir Trust. Speaking to news agency ANI, he claimed that he had handed over 200 silver bricks weighing one kilogram each to Champat Rai for the construction of the temple, but he was not given any receipt at that time. Dr. Manwani said, “We never raised the question before, but now with the news coming in, we are worried whether our donated silver has gone to the wrong place? So we have now asked for the receipt and information about its use.”

SIT submitted report to the government, but no FIR yet

It is noteworthy that in view of the nationwide uproar in the case of theft of offerings, the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh had constituted a high level SIT on June 13. This three-member team included Lucknow Divisional Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant, Lucknow IG Range Kiran S and Special Secretary Finance Neel Ratan. The SIT has submitted its sealed report to the government after several days of intensive investigation and interrogation. However, even after the report has been submitted, no official FIR has been registered in this matter, due to which there is anger and suspense among the opposition and the general public.
