JioSaavn launches ‘Music Profile’, users will be able to give a new identity to their ‘Music Persona’

India’s leading audio streaming service JioSaavn has launched a new feature ‘Music Profile’ for its users. With the help of this feature, users will be able to understand their music preferences better and can also share it with others.

This feature will create a different ‘Music Persona’ of the users based on their listening habits. According to this, they will be given special badges like Punjabi Murid, Bollywood Bhakt, Hip Hop Hustler and Telugu Abhimani.

Under the feature, users will achieve different key milestones based on the number of songs listened to, discovery of new artists and playlists created. They will also get information about their favorite music genre, mood, most listened songs and favorite artists. JioSaavn will also provide a glimpse of their music preferences every week and every month. With this, users will be able to easily understand their changing music preferences over time.

Users will be able to update their status on their music profiles and also showcase their favorite artists. Additionally, they will get the ability to watch new releases from their favorite artists directly in their personal library.

Under this feature, users will also be able to create their own unique handle. Through this, they will be able to create their public profile, in which they can share their favorite playlists, artists and music preferences. This will make the music streaming experience more personal and expressive than ever before.

Speaking on the occasion, a JioSaavn spokesperson said, “Music is an important medium for people to express themselves and connect with the world around them. Through ‘Music Profiles’, we are providing a more personalized experience that will help listeners better understand their changing music preferences, while also helping them discover new music that suits their mood and preferences. This launch is part of our continued endeavor to create a better experience that goes beyond just music streaming.”

This feature is available on Android, iOS and web platforms. Android users can use it by going to the Library section of the app, while iOS users can use it by going to the Profile section.
