In fact, according to the safeguarding policy of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), players under 16 years of age can share dressing rooms and shower facilities with adult players. In such a situation, this rule will also apply to 15 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi. He will not be allowed to use the changing room with the senior players of Team India. However, he will be involved in team meetings, practice sessions and match preparations with the senior players.

According to reports, the Ireland vs India and England vs England T20 series are not ICC events but bilateral series. In such a situation, only local laws and safety rules will apply. Even ICC will not interfere in these. Cricket Ireland has confirmed that the same rules will apply to Vaibhav during the Ireland tour. Three separate rooms will be provided to the Indian team. So that all safety standards can be followed.
