Pro Boxing League: Record bid on women boxers, exciting start to take place in Delhi from July 6

New Delhi. This time, women boxers were the most talked about players in the auction of players for the Pro Boxing League. Teams bid heavily on silver medalist Preeti, Asian Youth medalist Komalpreet Kaur and Banaras Trophy gold medalist Rani Devi. Pro Boxing League will be organized from July 6 to 10 at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi.

Preeti, who won silver medal in the competitions held in Andhra Pradesh and Sangrur (Punjab) this year, was included in their team by Punjab Pind Wrestler by making the highest bid. At the same time, Rani Devi, who won the gold medal in the Banaras Trophy, was included in the Mumbai boxing team.

Madhya Mahayoddha made Asian Youth Boxing medalist Komalpreet Kaur a part of its team. At the same time, Parv, who won gold in SGFI National Boxing and Padmashree Kaur Singh Memorial Trophy, was chosen by Punjab Pind Wrestler. Apart from this, Honey Olivan was included in the team of Eastern Yoddha, while Yashpal and Robin Siwach were included in their team by Central Yoddha with a big bid.

Indian Amateur Boxing Federation (IABF) President Dr Rakesh Mishra said that the players were selected in the auction pool on the basis of their performance in competitions held in Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh), Golaghat (Assam) and Sangrur (Punjab). The coaches of the teams selected the players from this pool.

He told that the Central Mahayoddha team was formed under the leadership of coach Sandeep Malik, while Jaspreet Singh for Punjab Pind Pehalwan, Rajeev Godara for Eastern Yoddha and Vardhaman Singh and Rohitash Singh Tomar for Mumbai Boxers selected their respective teams.

Dr. Mishra said that five male and three female boxers have been included in each team. He also told that this time the spectators will get to see many new innovations in the league.

Shashikant Mishra, Director, Shashwat Bharat Infro Solutions said that Book My Show and its professional team is fully committed to improving the quality of broadcasting. The league will be telecast live from 5 PM to 10 PM daily on Jio Hotstar from July 6 to 10.

IABF General Secretary Rakesh Thakran said that this league will not only provide a professional platform to Indian boxers but will also play an important role in giving them international recognition. At the same time, famous TV commentator Manoj Joshi played the responsibility of auctioneer.
