Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced its new team in Uttar Pradesh. A total of 19 leaders, including Pooja Pal, who joined BJP from Samajwadi Party, former cabinet minister Suresh Rana, Priyanka Rawat and Neeraj Singh, have been made state vice presidents. Rohit Mishra, who was the vice president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, has got promotion and has now been made the state president. A total of 8 general secretaries, 6 regional presidents and 19 ministers have been appointed in UP BJP. Regional presidents include names of leaders like Ram Kishore Sahu, Nawab Singh Nagar and Awadhesh Dwivedi.
Ever since Pankaj Chaudhary was made the president of UP BJP, efforts to form his new team were going on. However, it was getting delayed due to lack of approval from the central leadership. If we look at this list that has come out now, it becomes clear that special attention has been given to the caste equation and along with Other Backward Classes (OBC) Dalit castes have also been given representation.

Who became the vice president?
Suresh Rana, a two-time MLA from Thana Bhawan assembly seat in Shamli district, was a minister in the state government but lost his election in 2022. Now he has returned to the organization and has been made the Vice President. MLC Satyapal Saini from Moradabad-Bijnor has also been made the vice president. Apart from this, Dr. Dharmendra Singh, Mohit Beniwal, Devesh Kori, Braj Bahadur, Priyanka Rawat, Durvijay Shakya, Ramesh Singh, Neeraj Singh, Archana Mishra, Pooja Pal, Shankar Giri, Kamekshwar Singh, Krutika Aggarwal, Suresh Maurya, Rajesh Yadav, Krishna Bihari Rai and Alok Gupta have been made vice presidents.
Apart from Pooja Pal and Suresh Rana, the name of Neeraj Singh is also among the popular names. Neeraj Singh is the younger son of Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and brother of MLA Pankaj Singh.
This list shows that these 19 people have been selected from different regions and different castes. Women have also been given a chance in this. Out of 19, 4 women have been made vice presidents. Among the total 8 Chief Ministers, only one woman is Geeta Shakya. Among the 19 ministers, 8 are women. In this way, 13 women have also been included in this team of 46 people. However, not a single woman’s name is included among the 6 regional presidents.

Rohit Mishra, who till now was the vice president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, has been made the state president of UP. Prakash Pal has been made the state president of Backward Morcha, Devendra Singh has been made the state president of Kisan Morcha, Ashok Rawat has been made the Scheduled Caste Morcha, Saroj Kushwaha has been made the Mahila Morcha and Vidya Bhushan Gond has been made the vice president of the Scheduled Tribe Morcha.
