Chelsea set £75m price tag on Malo Gusto amid Manchester City interest

Chelsea have no plans to sell Malo Gusto this summer and have placed a valuation of around £75 million on the French right-back amid interest from Manchester City.

The 22-year-old has emerged as one of Chelsea’s most important players under Enzo Maresca. His performances over the past season have attracted attention from several top clubs, including Premier League rivals Manchester City.

According to reports, City admire Gusto and view him as a player who fits their style of play. The defender’s attacking quality, pace, and ability to operate in different tactical systems have made him an attractive option for Pep Guardiola’s side.

However, Chelsea remain relaxed about the situation and are not actively looking to sell the France international. The club considers Gusto a key part of Maresca’s long-term project and believes he has a major role to play in the coming years.

The Blues recently strengthened their defensive options with the signing of Marco Palestra, but that move has not changed their stance on Gusto. Chelsea see the two players as separate pieces of their squad planning and are determined to retain one of their most reliable young defenders.

While Manchester City appreciate Gusto and his connection with Maresca, who previously worked within City’s coaching structure, no formal bid has been submitted. There have also been no talks between the two clubs regarding a potential transfer.
