Manjrekar further said, “Opening in 50 over cricket is very easy and fun. It also gives the player an opportunity to get back into rhythm. I believe that this responsibility should be given to a player who is in the best phase of his career and who still has 5-10 years of cricket left. If you take the decision only keeping Rohit Sharma in mind, then it is not right. You have to think about Indian cricket and its future. That’s why if I have to join the team.
